What is Riso?

Riso (or Risograph) printing turns your designs into bright, textured prints with a playful twist. It’s part screen printing, part copy machine, combining the bold colors and layered textures of screen printing with the speed and convenience of a copier.

Every print comes out a little different, giving your artwork a unique, handcrafted feel. Whether you’re making posters, zines, or cards, Risograph brings your designs to life in a way that feels vibrant and fun.

  • Color Drums

The Risograph’s color drums hold vibrant soy-based inks, each one bringing a single bold hue to your prints.

  • Rice Paper Masters

Rice paper masters are the stencils that transfer your design onto the Risograph, creating crisp, colorful prints with each pass.

  • Multiple Passes

Multiple passes let you stack inks and colors, giving your prints depth and a full exploration of color.

  • Textures & Imperfections

The charm of Risograph printing comes from its screen-print-esque texture and small imperfections—roller marks, smudges, and slight misalignments—that makes each print unique.
